Donovan Vim Crony is a punk illustrator, video artist, and musician based out of Los Angeles, California. Vim has earned a BFA in film and video from the California Institute of the Arts in 2008. Although he is primarily known for his online punk variety shows THE GAZE and DEBUNK PUNK he has also garnered attention within the punk community for his illustration work.
Vim captures the intensity of Raymond Pettibon and the character of the Hernandez brothers comix within his own style. He has been drawing punk flyers and other designs for bands for several years now. Vim enjoys cheesecake, good punk shows, old videogame arcades, and campy horror/sci-fi films.
